In this busy life we lead, we simply do not take time to remember that our dental insurance benefits expire at the end of a contract year. This means each year your unused benefits are forfeited to the insurance company.

Unlike medical insurance, which has a lifetime maximum, dental benefits are usually annual benefits which do not carry over to the next year.
